Worth Within for Kids is Priceless & Provides Peaceful Exchanges

The intention of this afterschool program is to educate and empower our beautiful,  young and developing children to learn the necessary skills and tools about how to regulate their emotions and encompass self esteem and optimal worth within.

This AWESOME Program is Open and Available to ALL Children from the Ages of 5 Years Old and Upwards.

Different modules and activities of implementation will prove different based on your child’s age.

Hearing impaired children are most welcome too with the caveat that an interpreter would need to be provided for such participation (my apologies as I am further developing my signing acumen)

Ages 5-7 will receive the same information, but provided and executed with materials and in a manner that is suitable to their present state of development and can be cohesively implemented wtih the other older participants in the same time and space.

6 Week Self Esteem and Body Regulation Program Breakdown

1. The 6 Principles of Self-Esteem

Each module will accommodate ONE HOUR’s worth of time.

The Program will be ONCE A WEEK for a TWO(2) HOUR TIME PERIOD. ONE HOUR will be devoted to Self-Esteem & ONE HOUR will be devoted to Body Regulation.

20 Minute Instruction
20 Minute Participatory Aspect
20 Minute Peer Engagement.

6. Personal Integrity


Each week there will be a verbal instruction, a written exercise and an invitation for your awesome kid to express and experience their own inner relationship to themselves and the worth and value they carry within. 

Personal journals and writing prompts will be provided.

Creative writing good vibes

Mirrors will be used to have the child engage, in a tangible manner, a relationship to themselves and certain exercises will be prompted with use of the mirror.

Self Esteem should not be confused with narcissism.

The Very Principles Denote Conscious Living For Oneself & An Awareness & Upholdment of Social Responsibility.

 This is an awareness point and a distinction that needs to be expressed.

 The society of today breeds a dis connectivity to ones own esteem and heart space by way of an over identification with technology.

Without judgement, it is a thrivevibe experience to be AWARE if you have your technology or if your technology has you.

How consumed is your attention to the tangible world and your relatioship to it versus that of your relationship with your mobile technological device(s)?

For children to thrive into humans and leaders of integrity,  a conscious investment needs to be made into developing skills tangible to the world – OFFLINE


This invites your child to develop a stable, confident and empowered sense of well being and security within. 

The intention in instilling a child with a healthy sense of self and confidence within diminishes the likelihood of bullying, giving and receiving.

NO CELL PHONES ARE PERMITTED IN THIS PROGRAM BOTH PARENTS AND CHILDREN 

IF YOUR CHILD HAS  A CELL PHONE THERE IS NO NEED FOR IT TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE LEARNING SPACE AND THEY CAN KEEP IT IN THEIR LOCKER AND IF YOU HAVE A CELL PHONE YOU CAN PUT IT AWAY FOR THE DURATION OF THE DROP OFF AND PICK UP.

2. The Power of Emotion and  Emotional Regulation

Students  will be educated on the very powerful and dynamic energy of human emotion and be given simple tools and exercises to understand the energy of emotion and how it impacts their experience.

Tools will be taught for the health expression and management of ones own emotional intelligence.

Colorful, engaging and collaborative peer activities with craft materials to process and participate in the learnings.

Students will be taught constructive and  nurturing skills to self regulate and handle the daily stresses of school and kid life in a proactive and self empowering experience.

3. Your Body is Your LifeHouse

Educating & Empowering Your Child on How to harness and maintain good Self Housekeeping.

A body movement and regulation component will be implemented in each weekly module to empower children with education and information about their physiological energy and the benefits of understanding and maintaining optimal physiological health.

A direct correlation of ones esteem and the manner in which they nourish and care for their bodies is brought into awareness and demonstrated through participatory activites and exercises.

BREATHING – Lifeforce Regulation Explanation and the Power of a Connected Relationship to the Breath

Diagram and participatory creative drawing/writing exercise denoting the physiological differences and impact 2 self regulation between deep diaphragmatic breathing vs short fight or flight chest breathing.

Breath Connectivity is a Fundamental Tool for Optimal Health and Self Regulation

The BREATH MODULE will be an awareness point EVERY WEEK 2 create systematic repetition for healthy habit cultivation & a successful end outcome.

Each Physiological Component Will Have the Self-Esteem Module as an Integrated By-Product in the Execution of the Peer Engagements.

1. Your Breath Life Force/Connectivity 2 Nature & the Brain- Balloons and Your Breath
2. Crafting with Emotion – Craft Activities and Games to further expand childrens awareness of their EMOTIONS
3. Intro 2 Yoga and Peace/Inner Feels of Contemplation to know yourself (Outdoors)
4. Tabata Outside –  Anger Energy Release
5. Qigong with the Trees

A connected implementation of telling(verbal), showing (action), having the child do the action (experiential) and then provide feedback to the child on their performance by way of one constructive statement and three positive reinforcement statements.  This allows for progress to be made in an uplifiting and encouraging manner.

Physical Activity Modules – 20 minute instruction/25 minute engagement

INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW IF YOU WANT YOUR EPIC KID(S) TO JOIN THIS THRIVEVIBE EXPERIENCE

In order to be successfully eligible to engage this afterschool program, an agreement will be provided upon your interest for you to go over WITH your child and in an arena where you, your child and myself can go over the agreement in words and action to solidify the committed agreement.

 An ability to engage and successfully complete this task will prove to carry weight in terms of the success of your child’s entry into this program.

A code of conduct is in place and a non-negotiable in terms of being able to participate and remain in this uplifting, expansive and empowering program.

 Setting a foundation of appropriate conduct and posiitve and elevated participation at the onset of any endeavour is an arena in which successful results can be yielded.  This is the intention behind and the purpose of the investement of the agreement between all parties that are involved.

 Being able to say and do what you will actually say and do is the very essence of integrity and good esteem of oneself.

 Empowered and optimal regulation is what the program entails, so a solid investment and commitment is a prerequiisite and must be acknowledged as such.
